About the role
You'll run the campaigns that make NECL feel like the biggest thing to happen to football in the North-East. Season launch, playoff push, final week — you own the calendar and the numbers behind it.
Responsibilities

- Lead sponsor activations in partnership with the Sponsorship team.
- Drive ticket sales and matchday footfall in coordination with venue partners.
- Manage agency and freelancer relationships for creative, media and events.
- Own the marketing budget and weekly performance reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years in brand marketing with a track record of full-funnel campaigns.
- Comfort running paid media across Meta, Google and YouTube.
- Sharp creative judgement — you know what a great cut, poster or activation looks like.
- Data-literate — comfortable with GA4, campaign dashboards and simple SQL / Sheets.

- Prior in-house at a sports league, club or premium consumer brand.
- Existing relationships with regional agencies and OOH partners in the North-East.
- Working knowledge of CRM and lifecycle tools (Braze, MoEngage).
