About the role
NECL broadcasts should feel like the biggest football event our fans have ever watched from the North-East. You'll shape the entire live picture — camera plan, on-air graphics, replay language, storyteller-driven commentary integration.
You'll work with our host broadcaster, digital team and league sponsors to deliver a broadcast that scales from a single fixture to a multi-venue playoff week.
Responsibilities
- Design the multi-camera plan and running order for every live fixture.
- Direct live gallery on matchdays with the host broadcaster team.
- Own the graphics package, lower-thirds and OBB in coordination with brand.
- Coordinate commentary talent, pitchside reporters and post-match host segments.
- Deliver post-match highlights packages within 90 minutes of full-time.
- Run technical rehearsals and comms checks at every new venue.
Requirements
- 5+ years producing live football, cricket or top-tier sports broadcasts.
- Command of live gallery workflow (vision mixing, EVS replay, graphics ingest).
- Working relationships with host broadcast crews in India.
- Willingness to work matchday weekends throughout the season.
- Fluent English communication with technical crew and on-air talent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior producer credit on ISL, I-League, Pro Kabaddi or IPL productions.
- Editorial instinct — you can pitch and write a segment, not just cut one.
- Experience with OTT-first broadcast workflows.
Location
Guwahati, Assam
- Based full-time at the NECL Broadcast Centre in Guwahati.
- On-site at host venues across all eight states for every matchweek.
