Content Photographer / Videographer

Capture the matchday and behind-the-scenes story of NECL as still image and short-form film.

About the role

You'll be on the field, in the tunnel and inside the dressing-room corridor. Your job is to make the NECL matchday visible to every fan who couldn't be there.

We care as much about the walk to the stadium and the fan in the stands as we do about the goal — the whole story is the assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot every NECL fixture in a defined shot list agreed with the media team.
  • Deliver a full-frame hero image and 3 short-form vertical clips within 90 minutes of full-time.
  • Cover pre-match and post-match tunnel, warm-up and dressing-room moments.
  • Backup and hand over all raw files to NECL DAM at end of matchday.

Requirements

  • Own kit — pro-body camera, 70–200 f/2.8 minimum, monopod, laptop for on-site edit.
  • 3+ years shooting live sport or editorial assignments.
  • Fast editorial edit — Lightroom + Premiere/DaVinci to publish-ready.
  • Willingness to travel with the league team across the season.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work with a sports federation, club, agency or premium media brand.
  • Drone certification for approved venues.
  • Existing tunnel/pitchside credentials with Indian football events.

Location

Multi-state — assigned per matchday

  • Matchday assignments across all eight NECL host states.
  • Full travel, stay and per-diem covered per assignment.
  • Home city noted during application drives assignment planning.
  • Additional off-matchday assignments possible for launch and campaign shoots.

Benefits

Role-specific

  • Per-match fee plus full travel, stay and per-diem.
  • Named credit on every NECL asset your work appears in.
  • Kit insurance during NECL assignments.
  • First-look on annual NECL brand-film director assignments.

Every NECL role also includes

  • All-access matchday pass for NECL Season 1 across every host city
  • Annual NECL merchandise kit and player-tunnel drops
  • Health insurance for you and one dependent (full-time roles)
  • Learning stipend for football, media or engineering certifications
  • Domestic travel and stay covered for on-ground work
  • Direct exposure to AIFF, state associations, brand partners and broadcasters
  • Founding-team equity conversations for select senior full-time hires
  • A culture that treats football as craft, not content
